About Secondwind Farm

We live on a 36 acre farm, just 3 miles from historic downtown Hillsborough, NC.  Vera, Jim, and our Shetland Sheepdogs Beau & Pippa farm the land.

Our crops include hay, cut flowers, all kinds of vegetables, berries, fruit and nuts from our growing orchard. The farm is adjacent to the Eno River and we’ve established walking trails covering the farm. If we’re not in the pottery or maintaining the fields, you’ll usually find us on the porch.

We are usually around, but please contact us before you come out. We are happy for you to come and visit the  pottery, and there are plenty of wonderful places to visit in Hillsborough in addition to the pottery.
